Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck providing versatility and great height. The arm, or crane, is referred to as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the person using it to maintain a high degree of control while raising the load to great heights. Regular lift trucks can not move the cargo towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It comes with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift will normally use a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specially to hoist staff. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a chain or strap that is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
