Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system offers a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, many attachments have been engineered and developed like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more precisely. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being made and designed all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to know the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory would compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
