Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
You could often find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also called pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are used in order to transport materials and products around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight contains a pump which can lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by one individual.
Pallet trucks must be operated with care to prevent loss of control while raising heavy loads. Equipment should be checked prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Check that the handle could turn smoothly. The pallet must be stacked carefully to guarantee that nothing would fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level located on the inside of the metal loop to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks can then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks must be centered to guarantee equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not lift the pallet too high or the forklift could unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and then dragging it behind you. It is truly not safe to push the pallet ahead of you because the momentum can cause it to go out of control. Slowly take turns and don't attempt to stop suddenly. Stop slowly, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
